Approved Service - Service Description

The subject service of this Grant of Approval is the ID3global - Identity Verification and Validation Service from GB Group plc (GBG).

GBG’s proprietary ID Verification platform (ID3global) is utilised by thousands of customers across many industry sectors in the UK and Globally for the purpose of validating and verifying a citizen’s identity is real and that the citizen is who they claim to be.

An Identity Provider “IDP” will access the GBG services via a secure API to enable ‘Validating and Verifying the Identity of an Individual in Support of HMG Online Services’ (GPG45 – LOA1 and LOA2) and will be supported by GBG support teams as documented and detailed in the contract between the two parties. The GBG service is one of a number of component parts being integrated into the IDP partner’s overall service that is designed to meet all criteria as set out by the Cabinet Office.
